Connect with the Sunburst Team to explore career opportunities at our upcoming Job Fair! \nAs a Sunburst Pharm Dispensary Agent\, you act as the first point of contact for our cannabis\nconsumers. You’ll be tasked with check-in at reception\, listening to each consumer’s unique\nneeds\, assisting them in selecting cannabis that best suits their needs and completing their\npurchase. The ideal candidate will do this in a positive\, patient service-oriented manner in\ncompliance with state regulations. \nResponsibilities: \n\nGreet customers as they enter the reception area and sales room\nVerify patients are registered within the state database\nEducate consumers on Maryland cannabis laws\nEarn the trust of our consumers – learn their specific cannabis needs then help direct\nthem to products and ingestion methods that work for them\nAccurately prepare and record all sales transactions within the Point-of-Sale system\nMaintain a professional and safe environment for patients and fellow team members\nDemonstrate the ability to follow all COMAR compliance regulations and Sunburst\nPharm operating procedures\nIdentify potential issues and work with senior management to correct them\nWork to continually educate yourself on cannabis and expand your knowledge of\ncannabis products and treatment methods\nPass all required cannabis training programs\nAssist Inventory Management with reconciling and stocking dispensary products\nAssist Inventory Management with trimming\, packaging and labeling new products\nAssist in cleaning the dispensary and organizing displays\nAnswers patient questions in-person\, over-the-phone and online\nPerform light clerical duties including accurate filing of patient information\, inventory\nand general records while maintaining strict patient confidentiality\n\nQualifications: \n\n At least 21 years of age\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nAssociates Degree or higher strongly encouraged\nMust pass all required background checks\nMust obtain a state-issued medical cannabis card\nMust be able to work all hours of operation: 5 days a week between the hours of 7AM-\n9PM.\nExperience in the legal cannabis industry a plus\, but not required\n2+ years customer service experience in a client-focused sales environment\nExcellent customer service skills\nExperience working with digital Point-of-Sale systems preferred\nHigh proficiency working in a Windows PC environment\, Microsoft Word and PC-based\nWeb Browsers\nAbility to work evenings and weekends as needed\nAbility to handle multiple duties in a fast-paced industry\nAbility to work independently and as a team\, using strong analytical\, prioritization and problem solving skills to tackle a variety of tasks\nAbility to stand for 7-8 hours at a time\nAbility to lift\, carry and balance up to 30 pounds\nA strong desire to take the initiative and follow through on tasks with minimal supervision.

You’ll be tasked with labeling products for sale\,\ntrimming and packaging raw flower\, restocking the sales floor\, updating online menus and\nassisting in internal inventory audits.
